What’s in the Back…Part II

Part 2 – The Dress Back

Hi Guys

It looks like I just can’t stop trolling the internet to find some information for my special brides. Scroll down below to see some more of what I have found.

I seem to be loving the backs of wedding dresses at the moment. There is so much detail in the buttons, bows, sashes or backless fastenings I keep coming across. If you see anything you like contact me and I will show you were I found my searches.

Below my information came from a book I have by ‘Colin Cowie’ WEDDING CHIC which included some more information on the backs of Wedding Dresses.

Here are some different dresses, scroll down and see what you think. Have you found this as interesting as I did?

Forever Yours, Flowers creates amazing bouquets but without the dress our flowers are nothing. Here is just some of the amazing finds that we found on Pinterest for you:

  1. Vintage Victorian

Each dress has an amazing number of hand-made techniques. From hand-made lace to brocade. Amazing, beautiful and very unique dresses.

  2. Lace ’em up

    Laced Bustiers

A laced bustier provides a beautiful focal point for the back of the dress, as does the appliquéd beading, which sparkles in the light. The combinations of these two facets creates a very sexy version of a nineteenth century look.

  3. Diminishing Bows

    Diminishing Bows

Cascading down from this dropped waist, each bow gets smaller, a stunning detail that makes for a very specific period look.

  4. Buttons

    Buttons, buttons, buttons

Allover lace cascades down this sheath boho wedding gown, finished with covered buttons over zipper closure.

  5. Rosettes

    Rosette Wedding Dresses

This elegant train is affixed to the dress’s waistline with a pair of refined rosettes in silk chiffon, creating another focal point besides the subdued embroidery in the silk organza of the train.

  6. Thick Ribbon

    Butterflies

    Butterfly Wedding Dresses

These jewelled butterflies – one amid a profusion of flowers at the hip, the other alone near the hem of the dress – provide a touch of whimsy that doesn’t sacrifice any elegance
