A complete list of the wedding flowers you'll need for your big day!

Planning a wedding?

We know just how many things you probably have on your mind right now. So we thought we’d make life a little easier by sharing an exhaustive list of flower needs for your big day.

Take what you need, leave the rest behind!

1. First and foremost: bouquets!

Something to hold onto that ties your bridal party and your wedding décor into one harmonious theme! You'll need one for the bride and a slightly smaller one for each bridesmaid. For an extensive list of the types of bouquets available check out our blog on Bridal Bouquets

2. Boutonnieres – or for us less fancy, no nonsense people: buttonholes.

A simple and classical way to add some lapel flair while tying your groomsmen to your wedding theme.

3. Corsages, or Wrist Bling!

Not for every wedding but for those of us with a Nonna who insists on the family flowers, this is one to remember. It can even be nice to acknowledge people that you couldn't have in the wedding party with a little floral pin.

4. The Little Princess in your life

Something simple for your flower girls to carry. Often a traditional flower girl basket complete with petals or something uniquely her – like a flower wand!

A lot of couples opt for a child free wedding these days. But if you have small special people in your life, this can be a beautiful moment in time for them and a special memory for you to share with them.

5. Ceremony Décor

A beautiful floral arch to stand under, chairs wound with greenery and miniature roses, or a couple of large arrangements at the front of the church. Flowers are a general must at your ceremony.

6. Table Decorations

Some people go for a simple candle, some choose a long floral table runner down the length of the bridal table with elaborate arrangements on each guest table. You do you.

For a more casual reception you may decide to have some fairy lights and a few flowers on the odd table. For something more formal, table runners look absolutely exquisite

(Thought: this can be a great task to give one of your more artistic friends. It gets it off your over full plate and you get a gorgeous surprise on the day!)

7. Flower Crowns

Flower Crowns – garlands, wreaths, headpieces. Just for the bride or for the whole bridal party. A headpiece of some sort can add so much to your wedding party aesthetic.
